What you’ll be doing:

  1. Coaching & Development: Partner with managers to elevate leadership capabilities and nurture team growth. Design and deliver engaging training programs that unlock employee potential and elevate skills.
  2. Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution: Provide expert guidance on resolving employee concerns, fostering a harmonious work environment, and ensuring positive relationships across the organization.
  3. Compliance & Policy Excellence: Oversee and support all disciplinary processes with integrity and consistency, ensuring compliance with employment laws, company policies, and industry best practices.
  4. Safety First: Champion workplace safety by implementing cutting-edge health and safety policies and delivering training that empowers employees to prioritize their well-being.
  5. Strategic HR Advisory: Be a trusted advisor to leadership on all things people-related, from performance management to succession planning, ensuring that HR initiatives align with business goals.
  6. Government Programs & Subventions: Research and secure available funding, government programs, and subventions that support company growth and employee development.
  7. Change Management & Culture Transformation: Act as a change agent, driving exciting cultural initiatives that propel the organization forward and foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere.
  8. Global Collaboration: Partner with our global HR teams to continuously improve HR strategies, policies, and tools that enhance operational excellence.
  9. Tech-Savvy HR Operations: Use Dayforce and other HR tools to streamline processes, ensuring seamless HR operations and delivering exceptional employee experience.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. HR must have: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field with a CHRP designation and a minimum of 7 years of hands-on HR experience.
  2. Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in both English and French, with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Labor Law Expertise: Deep knowledge of Quebec and Ontario labor laws and CNESST regulations to keep us in compliance and ahead of the curve.
  4. Transportation Industry Knowledge: Experience in the transportation industry is a plus!
  5. Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Dayforce HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  6. Change Maker: Proven track record of leading successful change management initiatives and having participated in culture transformation.
  7. Immigration Insight: Strong understanding of immigration processes and government programs to support global talent mobility would be an asset.
