Our financial services client is seeking a permanent HR Business Partner to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience leading HR initiatives, driving talent management, and enhancing organizational development. This is a hybrid position, located in Downtown Montreal.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals to enhance performance and employee engagement.
Oversee recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and workforce planning.
Manage onboarding and offboarding programs to ensure smooth employee transitions.
Lead talent management initiatives, including performance management, leadership development, and succession planning.
Partner with leadership to assess workforce capabilities and implement development programs.
Provide guidance on employee relations, coaching managers on performance issues and workplace policies.
Oversee compensation, benefits, and promotion processes to maintain competitive and fair practices.
Advise senior leadership on HR-related matters and workforce trends.
Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR policies while supporting employee mobility and career growth.
Drive organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
5-7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
HR certification (e.g., CHRP, SHRM-SCP) is an asset.
Fully Bilingual in French and English.
Proven ability to partner with senior executives to drive HR strategies and resolve complex challenges.
Strong leadership and influencing skills to drive change and build engagement.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities at all organizational levels.
High integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential matters.
