Boundary Co-op is hiring a Full-Time Human Resources Advisor at our Administration Office in Boissevain, Manitoba.

What you'll do:

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the HR Advisor is responsible for:

  • Demonstrating day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen our Co-op's vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety;
  • Talent acquisition functions including attracting, selecting, and developing qualified candidates to meet the organization's staffing needs and enhance overall employee performance;
  • Leading acquisition initiatives including job analysis, posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing and completion of the selection and onboarding process;
  • Developing training program content to fill skill gaps and align with organizational goals;
  • Assisting with development of training plans, and assist with the evaluation of development programs;
  • Supporting all other responsibilities of the HR Department including health & safety, payroll and benefits administration.

Who you are:

You are looking for an opportunity to work in retail administration and possess:

  • A diploma in Business Administration or equivalent level of post-secondary education, preference will be given to candidates who have, or are working toward, the CHRP accreditation;
  • 3-4 years of office experience; preference will be given to experience in a Human Resources function;
  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written), listening and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficiency in technology including Microsoft Office Suite, and Windows;
  • Exceptional organizational skills including managing time, multiple tasks, and accurate documentation;
  • You're action-oriented, customer-focused and work well with other team members;
  • You're honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do;
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
