Human Resources Advisor

Boundary Co-op is hiring a Full Time Human Resources Advisor at our Administration Office in Boissevain, Manitoba.

What you’ll do:

• Demonstrating day to day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen our Co-op’s vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety.
• Talent acquisition functions including attracting, selecting, and developing qualified candidates to meet the organization’s staffing needs and enhance overall employee performance.
• Leading acquisition initiatives including job analysis, posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing and completion of the selection and onboarding process.
• Developing training program content to fill skill gaps and align with organizational goals.
• Assisting with development of training plans, and assist with the evaluation of development programs.
• Supporting all other responsibilities of the HR Department including health & safety, payroll and benefits administration.

Who you are:

• Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent level of post-secondary education, preference will be given to candidates who have or are working toward the CHRP accreditation.
• 3-4 years of office experience; preference will be given to experience in a Human Resources function.
• Exceptional communication (verbal and written), listening and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in technology including Microsoft Office Suite, and Windows.
• Exceptional organizational skills including managing time, multiple tasks, and accurate documentation.
• You’re action oriented, customer focused and work well with other Team Members.
• You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
