Job Posting: Human Resources Administrator, Saint John, NB
Commissionaires NBPEI are currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced Human Resources Administrator to work in our head office in Saint John, NB.
Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, the Human Resources Administrator is responsible for key duties aligned around:
- Total Compensation & Benefits
- Benefit enrollment and ongoing administration
- Total Compensation management for all employee levels
- HR Technology and HR Data Administration
- HRIS administration, data hygiene and management
- HR Dashboard management and related reporting
- Employee Administration
- Support employee onboarding, manage employee lifecycle and provide ongoing assistance to employees
- Lead the employee security process and manage all levels of clearances

Hours: Regular business hours, Monday to Friday, with some exceptions depending on work assignments
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Possess an understanding of HR design and administrative processes
- Knowledge of HR compliance, employment standards, and provincial human rights acts
- Knowledge of HRIS (experience with Criterion considered an asset) and ability to act as SME of HRIS in support of all employee groups
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to observe, analyze, and comprehend even the most minute aspects of a task
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members as well as internal and external stakeholders
Education and Professional Requirements:
- Three (3) plus years of HR experience
- Post-secondary education with a major in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Proficiency in using HR software and tools and experience with HR dashboards and metrics
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Must meet requirements to obtain a Government of Canada Level II (Secret level) and RCMP enhanced security clearances
