Job description

As our team continues to grow, we are seeking a meticulous and organized Human Resources Administration Assistant to join our Toronto office. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide administrative support to the HR department, including preparing documents, managing schedules, and maintaining records.
  2. Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  3. Help onboard new employees by organizing orientation sessions and preparing onboarding materials.
  4. Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  5. Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  6. Support HR-led initiatives such as training sessions, team-building activities, and performance reviews.
  7. Coordinate meetings and events for the HR team, including managing agendas and logistics.
  8. Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.

Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience in an administrative or HR support role is preferred.
  2. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  4. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with HR software is an asset.
  5. A proactive and professional demeanor with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  6. Knowledge of HR practices and employment laws in Ontario is an advantage.
  7. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the HR field.
