About The HR Administrator Role

Reporting to the Manager of Payroll and HR Operations, the Human Resources (HR) Administrator will provide essential administrative support while managing the onboarding and offboarding processes for all staff at eHealth Saskatchewan.

As an HR Administrator, you will:

  1. Coordinate, prepare, and maintain documentation for mandatory training and various employee programs.
  2. Update and manage highly sensitive personal and organizational data with accuracy and discretion.
  3. Collaborate with Payroll, HR Business Partners, and Talent Acquisition Specialists to ensure seamless team communication and support.
  4. Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, addressing inquiries and resolving issues with professionalism and tact.

This role requires exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. As you will handle sensitive and confidential matters, a strong sense of discretion and a commitment to making a meaningful impact are essential.

Our ideal candidate is knowledgeable about business protocols, policies, and administrative procedures. Familiarity with HR processes and public sector structures is an asset.

What We’re Looking For

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (CPHR designation is an asset). Equivalent education and experience, including customer service in a business environment, may also be considered.
  2. The ability to adapt quickly, organize effectively, and prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  3. A passion for continuous improvement in daily work processes.
  4. Strong consulting and coaching skills, with a proven ability to influence and provide actionable HR/business solutions.
  5. A service-oriented mindset, characterized by patience, honesty, respect, and tact.
  6. Attention to detail, reliability, discipline, and organizational skills.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  9. Problem-solving skills and the ability to identify resources to resolve issues.

  1. Expertise in preparing and managing documents using advanced features of word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
  2. The ability to anticipate challenges, make timely decisions, and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  3. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with a strong ability to handle conflicting priorities.
  4. A commitment to outstanding customer service, relationship building, teamwork, and quality improvement.
  5. Effective communication at all organizational levels, including with the public and external agencies.
  6. Familiarity with governance and public sector operational processes.
  7. Experience using software tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, WebEx, and Microsoft Teams.

Additional programs that also support patient care and information, include Virtual Care, the MySaskHealthRecord, the Provincial Electronic Health Record. eHealth is also responsible for the administration of various pieces of legislation to manage the registration of/changes to all vital event records (e.g., birth, marriage, death, etc.), registration of legal name changes, registration of adoptions, and for maintaining the provincial health registry for health services eligibility and distribution of health services cards.

The eHealth teams engage directly with health system partners and other stakeholders both provincially and federally to ensure all services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
