Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented HSE Manager to join our team! In this role you will ensure that the safety plan is in compliance with corporate policy and prevailing safety requirements on a major infrastructure construction project.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective HSE management systems and policies in alignment with local and ICAO standards
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and areas requiring improvement
- Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations and standards
- Develop and deliver comprehensive safety training programs for employees at all levels.
- Manage and mentor the HSE team, fostering a culture of safety throughout the organization
- Prepare and present detailed HSE performance reports to senior management.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for HSE metrics
- Remain informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in HSE management.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Professional certification, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH), or an equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in industrial or construction environments, including at least 5 years of experience in the aviation sector.
- In-depth knowledge of HSE management systems, risk assessment techniques, and incident investigation methodologies. Strong understanding of local and ICAO HSE regulations and standards.
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian labor laws and HSE practices.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights.
