About the employer:
This opportunity is based with a global manufacturer in Castlebar. There is an established HR team on site and you will be joining a HRM, HR Generalist, EHS Coordinator, TA Specialist and a L&D Specialist. This HR BP role is a new role to the business.
Prior Manufacturing industry experience is not essential, however experience in a strategic HR role within a global company is essential.

The ideal Human Resource Business Partner candidate:
Reporting into the HR Manager, you will conduct both strategic and administrative responsibilities, working closely with employees and leaders from all departments in the Castlebar site. There are approximately 85+ employees on site in Castlebar.
The HR BP Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage HR/EH&S functions within HR, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to leadership.
- Build strong relationships with business leaders and managers, providing tailored HR and EH&S solutions and support.
- Coaching managers and leaders.
- Partner with leaders and managers to ensure timely performance reviews are carried out consistently.
- Facilitate programs that enhance employee engagement and well-being.
- Act as a consultant on all employee relations matters; oversee appropriate investigation and/or disciplinary procedures.
- Keep up-to-date on employment laws and regulations.
- Proactively research and evaluate new trends.
- Effectively plan and lead HR projects aimed at driving organizational change, improving HR processes, enhancing employee engagement, and supporting business growth.
- Oversee payroll and benefits administration for Castlebar in conjunction with the HR team.
- Work with the HR team to ensure HR data is accurate and up to date on all relevant HR systems.
Education and requirements:
- BSc in Human Resources and/or Employment Law qualification or a relevant discipline.
- 3-5 years’ experience within a HR strategic role, ideally within a multinational organization.
- A thorough knowledge of employment law, practices, and their application, with a proven track record in dealing with ER issues.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with leaders.
- Strong team player with the ability to engage and influence.
- Strong IT proficiency and administrative skills.
