Role Overview
Join our dynamic team at Metergy as a Human Resources Analyst! You'll play a crucial role in supporting our HR and Recruitment teams, enhancing the employee experience, and maintaining the integrity of our HR data. We're looking for a self-starter with a passion for leveraging technology to make our processes smarter, faster, and better. If you have a keen eye for detail and excel at juggling multiple priorities, we want to hear from you!

3 days in the office at our Markham location (Warden/407).

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and respond to incoming employee requests, including data changes, letters, and reports.
  2. Assist HR Business Partners with a range of activities and transactions, such as new hire pre-boarding, onboarding, benefits, training, leaves, return to work, and exits.
  3. Maintain the quality and accuracy of data across our HR systems. Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Payroll to leverage data from various systems (e.g., Dayforce, ADP Total Source, Lever, MS Lists, Loop sites).
  4. Collect and compile HR metrics and data from multiple sources. Analyze and submit HR data for reporting and compliance requirements.
  5. Interface with third-party partners and service providers, including software vendors, insurance carriers, and training providers.
  6. Handle aspects of group benefits enrollment and administration activities.
  7. Offer support to Finance & HR initiatives. Provide regular and ad hoc reports to both teams.
  8. Maintain and update documentation regarding HR workflows, processes, and controls.
  9. Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process and reporting improvements through consolidating, streamlining, and automation.
  10. Support team initiatives, activities, and events that foster a positive work environment and inclusive culture.
  11. Identify areas where HR processes or employee initiatives can be optimized based on data insights.

Experience & Qualifications:
  1. Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field. Obtaining or working towards your CHRP designation is considered a plus.
  2. 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within an HR or Recruitment team, where you were accountable for handling and maintaining the integrity of sensitive information/data as well as providing support on a large volume of key HR activities.
  3. Highly organized with excellent time management skills – you meet date-driven timelines in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  4. Laser-focused attention to detail. Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion is a must.
  5. Adept ability to uncover data issues and implement corrective actions.
  6. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Continuous improvement mindset combined with a strong technical skill set – proficiency in Microsoft products with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint, and productivity tools like MS Lists, Loop.
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
