What's the Role?

As a HR Advisor - Proximate, you will be responsible for HR policy and benefit support, including processing HR transactional activities and administering local benefit plans. This also includes working on various projects designed to support Shell Thailand.

1. Administer medical benefit scheme:


2. Liaise with insurance service provider (health, life, and accidental insurance) in relevant to insurance scheme, insurance payment, medical claim queries etc.


3. Manage health checkup program (pre-employment checkup, annual checkup, high-risk position checkup) and vaccination. This includes coordination with medical service provider, preparing staff communication, processing payment etc.


4. Coordinate for Employee Assistance Program (EAP) which includes liaising with vendor, managing contract, proceeding payment etc.


5. Provide support on Social Security related matters.


6. Lead company events such as Shell Day, Kathin, Staff Party and Long Service Awards to help enhance employee relations, making employees feel valued and proud to work for Shell.


7. Act as focal point for company car arrangement (job allocated and position cars) which includes maintaining leased car data, managing personal accidental insurance, monitoring and managing contract, providing advice on company car queries, processing payment etc.


8. Manage employee data and documentation both physical and electronic documents, ensuring the accuracy and compliance with Group Management Record.


9. Handle HR-related payments such as medical claims, health checkups, insurance, and other payments relevant to labor compliance or statutory requirements such as Student Loan Fund and Training Fee in accordance with the Department of Skill Development etc.


10. Act as HR Online Content Editor and Knowledge Management Focal Point for Thailand in regularly reviewing and updating HR guidelines and contents in HR Online system as well as company intranet website.


11. Perform projects and assignments e.g., process improvement projects, providing data analysis and others as assigned.

1. Minimum 4 years of HR experience preferably in multi-national companies.


2. Master's Degree in MBA/Business Administration/Human Resources or related field is preferred.


3. Overseas education is preferred and fluent communication in English.


4. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.


5. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.


6. A strong curiosity to learn and demonstrated ability to nurture a psychologically safe and inclusive environment within which teams and individuals can thrive.


7. Strong team orientation; able to proactively contribute to the Country HR team and others. Works effectively in virtual and diverse teams.
