Overview

Presbyterian Homes & Services at Shorewood Landing is seeking a Part Time Housekeeper/Housekeeping Services Assistant for its team.

SCHEDULE/HOURS: Part Time Monday-Friday

REPORTING STRUCTURE: reports to the Environmental Services Director

ABOUT THIS COMMUNITY

Shorewood Landing is a senior living community offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care apartment homes, along with supportive services for older adults. Located at 6000 Chaska Road, Shorewood, MN 55331, it provides a peaceful environment with various events and activities for residents.

Responsibilities

The housekeeping services staff is responsible for maintaining and assuring uncompromising levels of cleanliness in work areas, buildings, and grounds. This includes:

• General cleaning, floor care, washing, sanitizing, polishing furniture/fixtures, waste removal, stocking supplies, cleaning windows, collecting and distributing laundry.
• Inspecting laundry and linen, informing supervisor of replacement needs, and other duties as assigned.
• Ensuring that housekeeping and laundry supplies are replenished in work areas.
• Cleaning and properly storing equipment, tools, and supplies at the end of each shift.

Qualifications

• Must have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, coworkers, family members, visitors, and the general public.
• Must possess the ability to take direction, prioritize duties, and organize work with others.
• Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.

Pay Range

The estimated starting pay range for this role is $16.32 - $20.09 per hour. Actual pay range depends on many factors including each individual employee’s qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.
