Housekeeper - Remote Camp

Job: Remote Camp Housekeeper

Location: Remote Fly-in Camp, Nunavut

Rotation: 4 weeks on, 2 weeks off

Background Checks: Drug & Alcohol screening and criminal record check will be conducted

Position Overview:
Tamatta Mining & Construction is recruiting for one of our esteemed clients seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals for an immediate opening as a Remote Camp Housekeeper at a fly-in camp in the breathtaking region of Nunavut. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a stunning environment while contributing to important projects in the mining and construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain cleanliness and organization of all camp facilities, including kitchens, dining areas, restrooms, and living quarters
2. Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens and personal clothing
3. Ensure proper sanitation and hygiene standards are met throughout the camp
4. Assist with meal preparation and service as needed
5. Stock supplies and report inventory needs to management
6. Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all staff

Qualifications:

1. Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a remote or camp setting
2. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established cleaning protocols
3. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently
4. Positive attitude and strong work ethic
5. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required
