POSITION:
Hourly Teacher – Physics (2025 Summer School Program – High School Remedial Course)

The College is seeking an hourly paid professor to join a dynamic team to teach a High School remedial credited course within Continuing Education for the 2025 Summer School Program. This course will be taught ONSITE.

Note: The College reserves the right to cancel the class due to lack of enrolment.

Course:
203-001-RE Remedial Activities for Secondary V Physics (75 hours)
(June 30th to July 31st, 2025, Monday to Thursday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.)
This course is equivalent to Secondary V Physics. Fundamental notions and principles in physics are introduced through the study of optics and mechanical systems. Laboratory work is introduced in this course and experimental techniques and mathematical skills are developed.

SALARY RANGE (PER HOUR):
$96.56 – $134.75

ROLE SUMMARY:
In a general way, the professor’s teaching load shall include: preparation of course outline; preparation of classes, labs and fieldwork; teaching of classes, labs and fieldwork; adaptation; support and supervision of students; preparation, invigilation and correction of examinations; revision of corrections at the students’ request and other activities when required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a pertinent field is required.
• A Master’s degree in a pertinent field would be considered an asset. Teaching experience would also be considered an asset.
