We are seeking a dynamic, personable, and passionate hospitality professional to join our C Hotel team as our Hotel Rooms Sales Coordinator! THE HOTEL ROOMS SALES COORDINATOR WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

1. Use persuasive selling techniques to promote room sales, group sales and corporate contracts
2. Respond to RFPs for group bookings
3. Liaise with event clients to secure room bookings and honeymoon suites
4. Review monthly commission statements for third party bookings
5. Participate in weekly revenue management calls and adjust rates according to demands and market analysis
6. Work and communicate regularly with the Carmens Group Marketing and Best Western teams in the development of promotional strategies
7. Act as a representative for the C Hotel with our key partners, develop new community partnerships and maintain relationships for best business outcomes and community relations
8. Uphold the Carmens Group vision, purpose, and values

HOTEL ROOMS SALES COORDINATOR REQUIREMENTS:

1. Post secondary education in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field an asset
2. Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working for a hotel or hospitality brand, preferably in a room sales capacity
3. Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service role
4. Previous sales experience a strong asset
5. Superb oral and written communication skills required
6. Strong negotiation skills and closing abilities
7. High level of attention to detail
8. Intermediate MS Office skills
9. Flexible availability for scheduling including potential hotel front desk coverage as required
