Hotel Night Auditor

Job Overview
The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in the hospitality industry, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and that guests receive exceptional service during their stay. This position typically involves working overnight shifts, providing a seamless transition between day and night operations. The Night Auditor is responsible for balancing the day’s accounts, handling guest inquiries, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Duties

1. Perform nightly audits of financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.
2. Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while providing outstanding customer service.
3. Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during the night shift.
4. Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations.
5. Prepare daily reports summarizing hotel operations, including occupancy rates and revenue.
6. Monitor security systems and ensure the safety of guests and hotel property during overnight hours.
7. Assist with front desk operations, including answering phone calls and managing phone systems.
8. Provide information about local attractions, services, and hotel amenities to enhance guest experience.

Skills

1. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest services in a hospitality environment.
2. Proficient in phone etiquette, ensuring professional communication with guests over the phone.
3. Experience with front desk operations in a hotel setting is preferred.
4. Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages (bilingual or multilingual) is a plus.
5. Familiarity with accounting software or hotel management systems is advantageous.
6. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records.
7. Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while managing various tasks efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
