Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, checking guests in and out, and addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have. A passion for hospitality and a commitment to guest satisfaction are essential for success in this position.

Duties

  1. Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with information about hotel services and amenities.
  2. Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, ensuring accuracy in billing and reservations.
  3. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  4. Maintain an organized front desk area, including managing phone systems and reservation software.
  5. Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
  6. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
  7. Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing and data entry.

Skills

  1. Strong background in hospitality with a focus on customer service excellence.
  2. Proficient in front desk operations within a hotel environment.
  3. Excellent phone etiquette to handle calls professionally and courteously.
  4. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
  5. Familiarity with hotel management software and phone systems is a plus.
  6. Exceptional interpersonal skills to build rapport with guests and colleagues alike.
  7. Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple tasks effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week

Additional pay:

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
