Job description

Hotel Food and Beverage Service Manager NOC 60030

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations.
  2. Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures.
  3. Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms.
  4. Conduct performance reviews.
  5. Cost products and services.
  6. Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
  7. Organize and maintain inventory.
  8. Monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices.
  9. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
  10. Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
  11. Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
  12. Participate in marketing plans and implementation.
  13. Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance.
  14. Lead and instruct individuals.
  15. Address customers' complaints or concerns.
  16. Provide customer service.

Education: College/CEGEP

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Salary: $47.09 per hour

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time

Hours per week: 30-35

Languages: English
