Located along the stunning shores of the Niagara River, The Waterfront Restaurant at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Golf Club (North America's oldest golf course!) offers a unique blend of history, charm, and exceptional service. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dining Room Manager to join our team and oversee the daily operations of our restaurant and member services.

Position Overview:

The Hospitality Manager will be responsible for ensuring a seamless dining experience for our members and guests while managing all aspects of front-of-house operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, organized, and thrives in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Staffing & Scheduling: Recruit, train, and manage dining room and patio staff; create and maintain weekly schedules to ensure optimal coverage and service standards.
2. Liquor Ordering: Manage beverage inventory, place liquor orders, and ensure compliance with all AGCO regulations.
3. Event Bookings: Coordinate and execute private events, banquets, and golf tournaments; liaise with guests to deliver exceptional experiences.
4. Dining Room and Patio: Oversee daily dining room and patio service, ensuring prompt, friendly, and professional service; maintain a clean, welcoming atmosphere.
5. Membership Services: Build relationships with members, address inquiries and concerns, and enhance the overall member experience.
6. Financial Management: Monitor and control labor and beverage costs, ensuring profitability while maintaining high standards of service.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
2. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
3. Knowledge of liquor ordering, inventory control, and event coordination.
4. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
5. Smart Serve certification.
