As a Hospital lead Security Guard, there is a high focus on leading a team of trained security guards, customer service, de-escalation and scheduled patrols as you will be working with people all shift, in hospital environments.

• Hourly wage of $17.81 + comprehensive benefits

• Permanent position: Friday and Saturday (2330-0730)

• Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Lead site security officers during the shift
• Maintain the daily security officer schedule
• Ensure post orders are maintained, updated, and followed by all security officers
• Issue and manage access cards
• Ensure guards are efficiently using G-track during their patrols
• CCTV monitoring
• Maintain a safe and secure environment
• Direct liaison with site client on a daily basis
• Respond to fire alarm/emergency situations
• Complete daily reports and incident reports
• Desk duties
• Other duties as assigned

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid Manitoba security license
• First aid certification is an asset
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent phone and computer skills
• Fluent in English, both written and orally
• Leadership experience is an asset
• Be able to work night shifts
• High school education or equivalent
• Strong customer service skills
