Our team at Richcraft Homes is seeking a New Homebuilder Sales Representative to help potential homebuyers find the right home by presenting knowledge of Richcraft products.

The Role:

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, the New Homebuilder Sales Representative will be responsible for helping potential homebuyers find the right home by presenting knowledge of Richcraft products. The Sales Representative will work closely with prospective buyers, guiding them through the process of purchasing a new built home with Richcraft. Your primary objective will be to achieve sales targets while providing exceptional customer service and fostering positive relationships with clients.

In This Role, You Will:

  1. Respond promptly to inquiries from potential buyers, providing detailed information about status of construction of the unit, anticipated delivery dates, closing dates and warranty deadlines.
  2. Conduct tours of model homes and showcase homes, highlighting their features, amenities, and customization options.
  3. Conduct follow-up calls and meetings to address any questions or concerns and provide regular updates on construction progress.
  4. Resolve customer issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  5. Monitor Ottawa’s demographics and amenities (school, local business, parks, etc.), market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  6. Visit other builders in the same area and prepare Competition Analysis on a monthly basis.
  7. Ensure that models and existing homes are well maintained and notify head office for any improvements or touch-ups that may need to be done.
  8. Write Agreements of Purchase and Sale with the purchaser, verifying design, lot, upgrades and closing dates.
  9. Prepare all required paperwork and review that paperwork with the homebuyer from Point of Sale to After Closing.
  10. Liaise with other departments including Site, Architecture, cost administration and the Design Centre when needed to ensure accurate information is communicated to homebuyers and potential homebuyers.
  11. Attend the head office on a regular basis for pick up and drop off of paperwork/supplies and participate in meetings.
  12. Responsible for self-development while taking a high level of interest in knowing and understanding Richcraft’s products and policies.

What You Bring:

  1. Previous experience in sales, preferably as a new builder or Condo Sales Representative.
  2. Excellent interpersonal skills.
  3. Strong organization and attention to detail.
  4. Ability to handle confidential information with tact and discretion.
  5. Ability to communicate quickly and concisely in a verbal and written format.
  6. Computer proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel skills, with the ability to analyze and compare data.
  7. Valid Driver’s Licence is required.

  1. Day shift
  2. Evening shift
