Salary: $19.78 hourly / 40 hours per week

Education:
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year

Experience:
1 to less than 7 months

Work Site Environment:
Non-smoking
Work Setting: Rural area, Work in employer’s/client’s home
Relocation costs covered by employer

Responsibilities:

1. Administer bedside and personal care
2. Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
3. Change non-sterile dressings
4. Feed or assist in feeding
5. Launder clothing and household linens
6. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
7. Plan therapeutic diets and menus
8. Provide companionship
9. Provide personal care
10. Prepare and serve nutritious meals
11. Cook

Credentials:
CPR Certificate
First Aid Certificate
Personal Support Worker Certificate

Additional Information:

• Security and Safety: Reference required
