Home Services Crew Lead

Sierra Window and Property Services is a full-service exterior maintenance cleaning and snow removal company based in Whistler, BC. We service multi-unit properties as well as hundreds of residential clients every year.

We are currently recruiting for a Home Services Crew Lead to join our team. We are searching for an individual who takes pride in producing excellent, detail-oriented work and who is looking for a long-term role within a local, growing business.

Duties include:

• Lead a crew of workers in cleaning windows and pressure washing exterior surfaces and gutters at residential customers’ homes, storefronts, and large multi-unit buildings inside and out.
• Oversee machine snow clearing operations during the winter months and assist with snow removal when required.
• Oversee, coordinate, schedule and provide training to our cleaning technicians.
• Ensure the worksite is safe before the cleaning technicians commence their duties.
• Ensure jobs are completed on time and to the company quality standard.
• Facilitate communication between employees and management to coordinate work activities and relay all job-related issues and feedback.
• Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Prepare cost estimates and sell services to potential clients.
• Perform walk throughs with homeowners.
• Work with clients to resolve any problems that arise.
• May assist with the hiring of staff.
• Prioritize quality work in a clean and organized manner.
• Other duties as necessary, and happy to pitch in where needed!

Please note, this job involves maneuvering and working on 24′ – 32′ ladders and outdoors in various weather conditions. During the winter months your shift may begin as early as 4am due to our snow removal operations.

Requirements:

• Previous related cleaning experience and proven leadership/supervisory experience is required.
• Experience working at heights.
• Experience using Excel, G-Suite, and working with a CRM.
• Customer service experience, and experience operating heavy machinery is a strong asset.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide training and guidance.
• Reliable, hardworking with a focus on upholding company quality standards.
• Positive attitude with the ability to problem solve and adapt as needed.
• Strong manual dexterity and agility is a must.
• Strong ability to kneel, reach, climb and balance.
• Clean driving record.
• Must be bondable.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.

Additional information:

• Wage: starting at $29.68/hour with $2/hr bonus after 2 months.
• Permanent, full-time position.
• Schedule: 4 x 10 hour days per week.
