Histology Lab Technician

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Lab Technician II for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Branchburg, NJ, 08876. Details of the position are as follows:

• Pay is $25-26hr to start!! Based on experience.
• 3-month assignment with the possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
• Must be available to work any of the following shifts based on business needs: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM, or 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM.
• Perform routine histology techniques including sample accessioning, tissue preparation, fixation, tissue processing, paraffin embedding, and cryo-embedding.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and workstations, perform routine troubleshooting, and ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures.
• Prepare stock and working solutions, maintain chemical inventory control, and follow waste disposal regulations.
• Adhere to cGMP, GDP, and GLP standards in laboratory recordkeeping and testing.
• Support Quality Control Product Release Testing, R&D, Complaints, and Clinical studies as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, AATB, OSHA, ISO, and USP standards.

• HS diploma with 1-3 years of Histology laboratory experience Required.
  • Or A.S. in Biology or a related science or equivalent work experience Preferred.
• Experience working in a GXP lab environment Preferred.
• Familiarity with laboratory safety, equipment maintenance, and universal precautions when handling biological specimens and chemicals.
