Hiro Japan Sushi Xpress is seeking a Full-time Restaurant Manager.

Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

Wage: $34.00~$37.00/hour (depending on experience)

Number of Positions: 1

Work Location: 6-680 Trans Canada Highway, Nanaimo, BC V9S 5R1

Job Duties:

1. Determine the services to be offered and implement operational procedures
2. Plan, coordinate, manage, and evaluate the activities and operations of the restaurant
3. Recruit, supervise staff members, and oversee staff training
4. Manage and set staff work schedules
5. Control inventory and organize when it needs
6. Modify menu prices according to the restaurant’s budget
7. Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
8. Address customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
9. Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for supplies

Job Requirements:

1. Experience: 2~3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required
2. Education: Completion of secondary school is required
