Hiring an Assistant General Manager for a new opening
We're seeking an Assistant General Manager to join the opening team for an exciting new project!
At Mercato di Luigi, we're thrilled to announce the expansion of our brand with a captivating new concept. Our latest location will feature an Italian market, deli, and cafe by day, seamlessly transitioning into a full-service restaurant by night, highlighting Italian cuisine with a focus on simplicity, local ingredients, and a curated wine list. We're looking for an Assistant General Manager who has a passion for hospitality and leading teams. Join us in bringing this vision to life!
You have:
- 2+ years experience in a supervisory role in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- A passion for hospitality and wine
- Proven success in controlling beverage, labour and supplies costs, menu development and pricing
- A calm and kind demeanour with guests and staff
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Experience with scheduling
- Serving it Right required
- Foodsafe Level 1 required
- Knowledge of Italian aperitivi, food and wine considered an asset
