Summit Air is hiring for a full-time permanent Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join the team. In your new position, you will report to the Maintenance Production Supervisor. You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of industrial aircraft ground service equipment within the facility/hangar.
This position interprets work orders and technical manuals; keeps equipment cleaned, lubricated, and maintained; diagnoses faults or malfunctions and makes necessary repairs in a timely manner.
The Heavy Equipment Mechanic is also responsible for supervising the work of the Heavy Equipment Mechanic Apprentice.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with various departments to create effective maintenance plans while adhering to regulatory compliance and operational requirements.
