Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic

Our well-known construction equipment dealer in Brampton, ON is looking to add a LICENSED Technician or registered apprenticed heavy equipment mechanic to their team to work in the shop to diagnose, repair, perform routine maintenance, as well as execute complete rebuilds on a variety of equipment and attachments.

The Perks:

• $35-40/hr (based on license and experience)
• +$2-4/hr based on job completion timing

The Role:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical maintenance on various models of heavy equipment and attachments.
• Program, update, and calibrate on-board control systems.
• Complete service work papers, submit daily time cards, work with dealer online support, fill out warranty information, and maintain a clean workspace.

You Bring:

• License in 421A or 310T or years of hands-on experience in the field as a heavy equipment technician
• 3+ years of experience working on industrial/construction equipment
• Previous equipment shop mechanic and/or field service technician experience is required
• Excellent mechanical aptitude, analysis and problem-solving skills
• Successful candidates will be motivated, personable and possess excellent communication skills
• Must have a valid Ontario drivers license with a clean drivers abstract
