Team & Culture

As an experienced Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic, you know the requirements of repairing and servicing heavy equipment. Your experience will include construction and forestry equipment as well as the management of parts and operating diagnostic programs for equipment such as Caterpillar, Hitachi, Volvo, and others. You take direction as needed but will lead by example in areas of safety, communication, and work ethic.

• Highly skilled mechanic able to diagnose and repair Heavy Equipment
• Strong commitment to safety
• Self-motivated but able to take direction in a dynamic and demanding environment
• Comfortable with shift work and open to overtime as required
• Knowledge of Caterpillar, Hitachi, & Volvo an asset
• Approaches problem-solving with a collaborative attitude
• Attention to detail is mandatory in all tasks, from start to finish
• Be physically fit and able to lift 50lbs
• Have an understanding of computers and basic MS Office skills
• Able to work 14/7 rotation in Sparwood B.C.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Certification
• Minimum 3 years experience
• Class 5 license
