HEALTHCARE BUSINESS ANALYST

We are looking for a healthcare business analyst to join our team of consultants in the Montreal office.

This position is in hybrid mode.

Functional Expertise We Are Focused On Right Now:

1. Patient Appointment Booking
   - Involves the configuration side to define booking slots, resource requirements, provider schedules, etc.
   - Front-end for booking appointments (cancel, rebook, book series appointments, group appointments)
   - Appreciation for some of the data that needs to be captured and reported about appointments
2. Procedure and Medication Order Flows
   - More focused on hospital environment, but also involving clinic and outpatient orders
3. Knowledge of Workflows and Documentation of Order Fulfillment
   - Normal case and exceptional case

Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of Healthcare and Healthcare IT (not Insurance)
2. Prior experience as a business analyst, clinical informaticist, or system analyst
3. Working knowledge of techniques to document business requirements (User Stories, Use Cases, Sequence Diagrams, etc.)
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills
5. Ability to read and understand regulatory documents and translate to business requirements
6. Passion for details that you can balance with business realities
7. Experience with Jira and Confluence
8. Knowledge and awareness of Canadian healthcare
9. Bi-lingual English / French is a plus
