The Safety and Security Administrator is responsible for securing premises and personnel by patrolling properties, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points. This role involves investigating security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior, as well as controlling traffic by directing drivers and completing reports by recording observations and activities. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent;
CPR/ First Aid Certified;
2-3 years of experience in a security role.
Working Conditions
Exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and loud noises;
Able to work night shift as required;
Must be able to stand for up to 4 hours;
Must be able to lift up to 15lbs;
PPE is required in all areas of the plant facility;
Flexible to work overtime as required.

Job Specific Duties
Obtain help by sounding alarms (siren/whistle/loudspeaker);
Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policies;
Control traffic by directing drivers;
Complete reports by recording observations and interviewing witnesses;
Maintain environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls;
Ensure operation of security equipment and surveillance cameras;
Contribute to security team efforts;
Ensure security, safety, and well-being of all personnel and visitors;
Adhere to all company policies and operating standards;
Respond to emergency situations to provide necessary assistance;
Protect the company's assets against theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues;
Follow procedures for fire prevention, patrolling, and accident investigations;
Report suspicious activity and security breaches;
Oversee overnight vehicles parked on the property;
Patrol property on foot and/or in vehicle;
Investigate and take appropriate action on incidents;
Control and monitor surveillance equipment and perform inspections;
