Health & Safety Manager - 6 Month FTC - Construction - Watford - Up to £60k pro rata

We are recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join a fantastic business on a 6-month contract. The business is a leading contractor in the construction industry with a fantastic reputation and a history of hundreds of projects across Europe. This is an urgent requirement - they can accommodate an immediate start. This is a contract position with the potential to go permanent.

Health & Safety Manager - Responsibilities & Requirements

• Must have proven Health & Safety experience, ideally within a construction-based environment
• Responsible for carrying out daily Health & Safety inspections on the project
• Reporting to the Project Manager and Managing Director
• Reviewing sub-contractor RAMS
• Effective communication skills and able to deal with people at all levels
• Carrying out toolbox talks and delivering briefings
• Responsible for assisting site teams and supporting with site-related health and safety issues
• Assisting in introducing new health, safety, and environmental initiatives
• Carrying out accident reports and near-miss analysis
• Experience with relevant regulations such as LOLER, PUWER, ISO45001, Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
• You will be positive, reliable, and flexible in your approach
