Health & Safety Manager

Our client is looking for a Health & Safety Manager to join their team! This full-time position will require travel between 2-3 facilities.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide health and safety training to new employees
2. Maintain SDS sheets
3. Help to develop safety procedures and protocols with leadership staff when it comes to working with various pieces of equipment
4. Distribute monthly safety talks
5. Perform annual chemical safety audits & any onsite health and safety inspections
6. Maintain and present monthly health and safety metrics
7. Identify any areas of concern and notify supervisors
8. Prepare WSIB form 7’s for any employee incidents

Requirements:

1. 3+ years in a similar role
2. CRST or CRSP designation preferred
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Forklift Train the Trainer would be an asset
