In this position, you will have the opportunity to:
Coordinate and implement various health and safety projects targeted within the strategic and operational plan.
Continue the deployment of the prevention program, provide the required support, ensure follow-up and audit the program to ensure compliance.
Act as a mobilizing change agent within the organization with respect to OHS activities.
Be responsible for the Health and Safety Committee and participate in the implementation of committee activities.
Coordinate the accident investigation and analysis process to identify root causes, corrective actions and follow-ups.
Support risk and ergonomic analyses, according to established priorities.
Manage the various protective equipment related to the respiratory protection program (allocation, training, replacement).
Coordinate the health and safety training process.
Take an active part in welcoming new employees.

With the following skills and qualities, you'll be successful in this role:
DEC, Occupational Health and Safety or Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or any other training deemed relevant.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years' practical and applied experience as a health and safety specialist in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Very good knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and standards.
Ability to communicate and popularize information.
Demonstrates leadership in day-to-day work and has strong influencing skills.
Autonomy, the candidate is able to take charge of complete projects and ensure their follow-up.
Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
Ability to create and maintain good relations with employees.
