We are seeking an experienced Head of Quality Assurance to lead our QA team and elevate our quality standards as we scale. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our software products meet rigorous functional, performance, and security benchmarks. You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to embed quality at every stage of the development lifecycle.

Job Summary: As the Head of Quality Assurance, you will drive our overall QA strategy, oversee the quality program's implementation, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software. You’ll work closely with leadership and other teams in a cross-functional capacity to enhance processes and achieve operational excellence.

Essential Functions:

1. Strategic Leadership: Develop, execute, and manage a comprehensive quality governance program that is aligned with company goals.
2. Team Development: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing QA team.
3. Process Optimization: Refine QA processes, ensuring best practices for both manual and automated testing.
4. Collaborative Partnering: Work closely with Product, Development, and Operations teams to define quality metrics and KPIs.
5. Test Management: Oversee and participate in the creation and execution of test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure complete coverage.
6. Automation Expansion: Drive the adoption of automation testing tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and scalability.
7. Stakeholder Communication: Present QA metrics, insights, and recommendations to executive leadership.
8. Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of industry trends and advocate for innovative QA solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including 3+ years of proven experience as a senior QA leader ideally within FinTech or a regulated industry.
2. Experience driving organization-wide strategic change, and championing or managing organization-level quality management and governance programs.
3. Comfortable and experienced with executive reporting.
4. Strong background in test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Zephyr, Jira).
5. Expertise in manual and automated testing strategies.
6. Proficiency with API testing tools like Postman, and automation frameworks like Selenium or Cypress.
7. Deep understanding of Agile (SAFe) methodologies, the software development lifecycle (SDLC), and an in-depth understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
8. Proven ability to build and lead teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
9. Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards relevant to the FinTech Industry.
10. Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
