We are seeking an experienced Head of Quality Assurance to lead our QA team and elevate our quality standards as we scale. Job Summary: As the Head of Quality Assurance, you will drive our overall QA strategy, oversee the quality program's implementation, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software. You’ll work closely with leadership and other teams in a cross-functional capacity to enhance processes and achieve operational excellence.
Essential Functions:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop, execute, and manage a comprehensive quality governance program that is aligned with company goals.
- Team Development: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing QA team.
- Process Optimization: Refine QA processes, ensuring best practices for both manual and automated testing.
- Collaborative Partnering: Work closely with Product, Development, and Operations teams to define quality metrics and KPIs.
- Test Management: Oversee and participate in the creation and execution of test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure complete coverage.
- Automation Expansion: Drive the adoption of automation testing tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present QA metrics, insights, and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of industry trends and advocate for innovative QA solutions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including 3+ years of proven experience as a senior QA leader ideally within FinTech or a regulated industry.
- Experience driving organization-wide strategic change, and championing or managing organization-level quality management and governance programs.
- Comfortable and experienced with executive reporting.
- Strong background in test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Zephyr, Jira).
- Expertise in manual and automated testing strategies.
- Proficiency with API testing tools like Postman, and automation frameworks like Selenium or Cypress.
- Deep understanding of Agile (SAFe) methodologies, the software development lifecycle (SDLC), and an in-depth understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Proven ability to build and lead teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards relevant to the FinTech Industry.
