A prestigious organization within the Professional Services is seeking a highly motivated and accomplished individual to join their team as a Leader for their Talent Acquisition Team. Reporting directly to the Vice President, People & Culture, you will lead and revolutionize our recruitment program to achieve continuous success. In this extraordinary role, you will collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, oversee a team of talented recruiters and talent acquisition specialists, and contribute to the overall recruitment endeavours of this renowned institution.

Responsibilities

As the leader for the TA team, you will spearhead the following key responsibilities, among other related tasks, to advance our institution's business objectives:

  • Collaborate closely with senior management to design recruitment strategies that perfectly align with the institution's overarching goals.
  • Showcase your ingenuity by crafting and executing innovative recruitment tactics that allure top-tier candidates to meet our projected growth.
  • Drive the institution's talent acquisition and engagement model, expertly aligned with our esteemed objectives.
  • Uphold exceptional standards of talent acquisition practices, fostering community outreach and EDI partnerships that uphold our values.
  • Lead, mentor, and guide the recruitment team towards unparalleled excellence throughout the entire hiring process.
  • Harness your visionary insights in workforce planning to foresee and prioritize future talent requirements for seamless recruitment efforts.
  • Exhibit your prowess in sourcing strategies, ensuring the attraction of exceptional candidates while staying attuned to market trends and competition.
  • Foster fruitful relationships with external recruitment agencies, job boards, and other talent sources, expanding our network of exceptional talent.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers, understanding their unique needs, and formulating highly effective recruitment strategies.
  • Act as a knowledgeable subject matter expert in cutting-edge recruitment tools and technology.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by diligently monitoring the local labor market, ensuring our compensation practices remain enticing and competitive.
  • Streamline and optimize recruitment channels to unlock new levels of efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Elevate our strategic hiring procedures, ensuring seamless and impactful recruitment endeavors.
  • Champion diversity sourcing strategies, embracing inclusivity, and shaping a diverse workforce that enriches our institution's fabric.

  • Masterfully assess recruitment metrics, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance visibility, reduce cycle time, and optimize hiring costs.
  • Present regular updates and comprehensive reports to senior management, showcasing the remarkable outcomes of our recruitment activities.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A distinguished track record in recruitment, including leadership or managerial roles that underscore your expertise.
  • A profound knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing strategies, and the latest recruitment technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building lasting connections across all levels of an organization.
  • An analytical mindset, adept at leveraging recruitment data to inform process enhancement.
  • Familiarity with BC employment standards and legislation, ensuring compliant and fair recruitment practices.
  • CPHR certification is preferred but not required, reflecting your dedication to professional excellence.
  • Proficiency with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), enabling seamless management of talent acquisition.

On offer is a very attractive salary and benefits. 120-140 K base plus bonus plus benefits.
