We are currently looking for a new Associate Director of Marketing as part of the Distributor Sales unit (RoW-DS), a unit of Arla’s International Division. In RoW-DS we oversee numerous export markets, focusing on developing branded positions across Arla’s full portfolio through close collaboration with partners across regions such as Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa, the Mediterranean, Eastern Europe, the Baltics, the Balkans, and the Caucasus.
Our full RoW-DS team comprises 43 dedicated professionals in Sales, Sales support, Marketing, and Product management functions which have been on a steep growth journey and are looking forward to further growth through expanding into new markets and positions as well as incumbent positions.
The role is based at our newly opened Arla Copenhagen office in the modern and vibrant Carlsberg neighborhood (Carlsberg Byen).
How you will make an impact?
As our new Associate Director, your overall responsibility would be to lead a team of 16 colleagues working with marketing, product management, and regulatory, 5 of whom report directly to you. You will be leading a diverse and skilled team responsible for developing and implementing our brand agenda across many different geographies, categories, as well as consumer & shopper contexts.
Your priority is fueling the growth of Arla’s renowned global brands such as Lurpak, Castello, Arla Cheese, Arla Protein, Arla Milex, Puck, as well as any upcoming bets and brands.

Qualifications
Reporting directly to the Senior Director of DS, you will maintain a strong dotted line to the ROW Head of Marketing as part of the role. Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential. Additional language skills would be an advantage.
Expect to travel 30-45 days per year with a minimum of 3 days from our offices in Copenhagen.
