Who we need

Reporting to the Managing Director, Operations, we are hiring for a Head of Marketing. You will bring your thought leadership and expertise to drive the R-LABS marketing strategy and successfully generate leads from entrepreneurs, investors and innovation partners interested in partnering with us. You will take a data-driven approach to design and deliver marketing initiatives that push our brand forward.

This is an in-office role located in our downtown Toronto office.

What you will do:

  • Define and execute the marketing strategy. You will develop and implement marketing programs to drive brand awareness and position R-LABS as the Real Estate Industry Venture Builder.
  • Manage campaigns. You will oversee and execute marketing efforts across multiple channels, including engaging social media campaigns to boost visibility and engagement.
  • Develop partnerships. You will collaborate with entrepreneurs and corporate innovators to support venture-building initiatives and lead community engagement to strengthen stakeholder relationships.
  • Build and promote our brand. You will manage public relations, coordinate key messaging, and enhance our online presence through effective website optimization.
  • Manage events. You will plan and execute marketing events, such as launches, conferences, and promotional activities, to elevate our brand and generate leads.
  • Track performance. You will monitor marketing metrics and KPIs to refine strategies and meet business objectives.

What you bring:

  • The marketing thought leadership. You have a proven ability to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies. With creative expertise, you’ve overseen and delivered multi-channel campaigns, events, and social media programs that drive brand awareness and recognition. You think outside the box to craft innovative strategies that stand out in the market.
  • The drive. You are a results-oriented doer with an entrepreneurial spirit, willing to do whatever it takes to build a successful brand and company. Your experience in the innovation ecosystem or startup environment has honed your ability to adapt quickly and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced settings.
  • The technical skills. You have extensive experience in website management and optimization to enhance online presence, designing and implementing marketing programs that align with business goals, and planning, coordinating, and executing marketing events. You are proficient in modern marketing tools for managing campaigns and analyzing performance metrics and KPIs to ensure results.
  • The interpersonal skills. You have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to influence outcomes and drive action. You excel at adapting messaging to suit different audiences and mediums, and you have a proven track record of building and nurturing partnerships with entrepreneurs and corporate innovators.
  • The adaptability. You are agile and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, where challenges and opportunities evolve rapidly. Your innovative thinking and problem-solving ability enable you to stay ahead of trends and consistently deliver results.
