Bitcoin Well is hiring a bitcoiner to lead the Growth Marketing team. This freedom maxi will craft and take ownership of the growth initiatives at Bitcoin Well.

The Head of Growth Marketing is ideal for someone who loves community-driven growth, understands Bitcoin culture, and can balance strategy with hands-on execution. You will lead a small and dedicated team while being responsible for growing customer growth at bitcoinwell.com.

This role is not a position. You will be actively involved in executing marketing initiatives while also driving strategy and leadership directly with the CEO.

What are our expectations of the role?

  • Lead the team – Provide leadership and grow strengths to the existing two-person marketing team. Keeping them focused, organized, and effective.
  • Refine & Execute Strategy – Develop and implement strategies that align with our Bitcoin maximalist values and platform.

Drive Growth :

  • Customer acquisition to the Bitcoin Portal. This will include strategies that emphasize community, affiliates, and organic growth.
  • Lead generation for Bitcoin Well Infinite; our white-glove service offering for large transactions.
  • Maintain KPIs for the Bitcoin ATM network.

Manage Key Marketing Functions :

  • Oversee analytics gathering and reporting.
  • Lead conference and event attendance to grow our presence in target geographies.
  • Manage advertising initiatives (with a focus on community-first approaches, not just PPC).
  • Maintain and build on our social media and content strategy including educational initiatives, webinars, SEO, and email marketing.
  • Iterate quickly. Work with fast feedback loops, test strategies, and adjust based on real-time data.

Who is the ideal candidate?

  • Bitcoin Maxi – You deeply understand Bitcoin culture and ethos. You’re not just marketing Bitcoin — you are Satoshi (Craig Wright need not apply).
  • Experience in Community & Growth Marketing – You’ve successfully grown brands through community-driven strategies, affiliates, and organic marketing. Experience in fintech/bitcoin is an asset, but not a requirement.
  • A Leader Who Can Execute – You’re not just about strategy; you’re hands-on and ready to roll up your sleeves.
  • Startup & Scrappy Mindset – You thrive in fast-moving environments, comfortable with quick pivots and experimentation.
  • Strong Organizational Skills – You can keep a team on task and focused, ensuring high-impact execution.

Who is Bitcoin Well?

Bitcoin Well is a publicly traded Canadian Bitcoin company; established in 2013. Currently listed on the TSXV. BTCW.v

We started with Bitcoin ATMs in 2014. Today we operate over 160 ATMs across Canada. In 2022 our focus moved from actively growing our network to building and growing the Bitcoin Portal at bitcoinwell.com. The Bitcoin ATM network continues to empower our privacy-focused initiatives on the Bitcoin Portal.

The Bitcoin Portal is a bitcoin-only platform that empowers people to replace their bank account with bitcoin in self-custody. Our non-custodial platform allows Canadians to buy and sell bitcoin while also using bitcoin to pay their bills and send money to friends; all with their personal bitcoin wallets.

We expanded the Bitcoin Portal to all 50 states in the USA in 2024 and are now building out these same services in the USA. One day, the entire world will be able to replace their bank with Bitcoin Well.

Compensation - paid in fiat or sats

Total compensation of up to $120,000 plus benefits; comprised of:

  • 21,000 options in our publicly traded stock
