About Blue J
Blue J is the leading solution in generative AI for tax experts. We’re a B2B SaaS company whose customers are accountants and lawyers, and our AI-tax research software is the best in the market. We have strong product market fit across all segments (from sole proprietors through to enterprise accounting), and are making significant impacts to how our customers’ approach tax and tax research.
We’re in an exciting phase of growth—since launching our flagship generative AI product, we’ve consistently exceeded our revenue targets quarter over quarter. We closed a round of funding late last year, and are unlocking new and significant avenues for growth, including through enhancing our approach to eCommerce.
Blue J is already available for purchase online, and now we’re looking for an experienced Head of eCommerce to take this foundation to the next level. This is a unique opportunity to own the P&L for our online buying channel and lead the strategy for how we acquire and convert customers through our digital purchase experience.
A Note on Location
We are excited to meet with qualified candidates and are grateful for everyone’s interest. This is a hybrid position, primarily remote but requiring periodic in-person attendance at our downtown Toronto office. Applicants must live within commuting distance and be eligible to work in Canada.
About The Role
We are significantly expanding our digital strategy, creating a rare senior leadership opportunity for an experienced Head of eCommerce. Your responsibilities will span pricing, marketing, customer experience, tools and technology, processes, and budget management, with a strong focus on ROI. You’ll work cross-functionally—operating independently at first to build, optimize, and validate a strategic eCommerce function, and growing and leading a high-performing team that you will recruit and develop.
