Job Overview

We are looking for a handyman/woman to join our team at Canyon Hot Springs in Revelstoke, BC. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance and repair tasks, and be able to work in all weather conditions.

Work Setting

• Rural area
• Resort

Tasks

• Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
• Empty trash cans and other waste containers
• Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
• Perform minor repairs on appliances
• Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
• Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
• Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
• Work with minimal supervision

• Power tools
• Swimming pool maintenance and cleaning equipment

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

• Physically demanding
• Bending, crouching, kneeling
• Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
