Handyman / Labourer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance, repairs, and various residential/commercial tasks. Additional duties will include but are not limited to lawn care maintenance/snow removal, junk removal, furniture assembly, local delivery of large items or appliances, and local moving services.
This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. If you are a hands-on individual with a knack for fixing and have great troubleshooting skills, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform general maintenance and residential or commercial repair tasks (excluding plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting).
2. Assemble furniture, fixtures, and other household or commercial items.
3. Junk removal and decluttering of household goods; must be able to lift 50lb minimum.
4. Must be able to work at heights comfortably for tasks such as gutter cleaning or repairs.
5. Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
6. Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and storage.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
8. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
9. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Proven experience in general maintenance, construction, or handyman-related work.
2. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and residential repairs.
3. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment effectively.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Physical ability to lift heavy objects, work at heights, and perform manual labor.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
7. Valid driver’s license (preferred but not required).
8. Must be bonded.

Work Conditions:

1. $18.25/hr
2. Full-time/part-time positions
3. Hours of operation:
   • Tues-Friday 9am-5pm
   • Saturdays 9am-3pm
4. Work may be indoors or outdoors, depending on the job requirements.
5. May require working in various weather conditions and environments.
6. Mileage paid for work completed outside of local area.
