ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICE WORKER
Reporting to the Environmental Services Supervisor or designate, the Environmental Service Worker is responsible for performing a variety of tasks in the cleaning field, such as washroom cleaning, hard and soft floor care, all types of housekeeping (patient rooms, office areas), and waste handling and disposal (pick-up, transport, compact, and package for off-site disposal). Other duties as assigned. The Environmental Service Worker complies with the Occupational Health and Safety Standards for the hospital and is proactive in promoting a safe work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/TRAINING EXPERIENCE:
Grade 12, or GED Certificate
FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FOOD SERVICES)
Will perform assigned duties in the assembly, production and distribution of food to patients. This includes the preparation of salads, sandwiches, special diet items, hot food items, short-order items, tray pick up and delivery of food and beverages, completion of food requisitions, and responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, work surfaces, and equipment. The Food Service Worker complies with the Occupational Health and Safety Standards for the hospital and is proactive in promoting a safe work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/TRAINING EXPERIENCE:
Ministry of Health Food Handling Certificate
Grade 12 diploma, or GED Certificate
RETAIL SERVER (TIM HORTON'S)
Responsible for delivery of quality service to main lobby kiosk while maintaining the brand partner standards. Will be required to wear Retail Server classification uniform and will be working in a fast-paced environment, serving coffee and cash handling. The Retail Server complies with the Occupational Health and Safety Standards for the hospital and is proactive in promoting a safe work environment.

Ministry of Health Food Handling Certificate
Grade 12 diploma, or GED Certificate.
PATIENT REGISTRATION PORTER
Under the direction of the Guest Services Coordinator or designate, the Patient Registration Porter while working in a team environment, will transfer patients and their personal belongings to the appropriate accommodations, transport patients to and from Diagnostic areas, patient floors and other clinical areas. The Patient Registration Porter assists nursing with patient transfers, assists nursing departments with all nursing transfers, cleans and sterilizes patient stretchers, wheelchairs, etc. Performs a variety of non-technical duties within the department including maintaining adequate level of supplies and carrying out other duties as may be assigned within the scope of their areas of responsibility and all other duties as assigned by management. The Patient Registration Porter complies with Occupational Health and Safety Standards for the hospital and is proactive in promoting a safe work environment.
