Job description

Reports to: Hospitality Managers & Box Office Manager

Duration: 8 Weeks (possibility of extension)

Rate: $17/hour

Location: On-site in Rosebud, Alberta

Job Responsibilities:

The Guest Service Agent contributes to the coordination and delivery of all guest services tasks as they relate to the summer cultural offerings of Rosebud Theatre & School of the Arts and within the community of Rosebud. Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  1. Supporting the operations of summer programming at Rosebud Theatre, Mercantile Dining Room, Festival Stage, Opera House, Studio Stage, and the Akokiniskway Gallery;
  2. Helping to train and supervise volunteers;
  3. Tour bus host;
  4. Greeting, directing, and touring groups who visit Rosebud;
  5. Helping to promote and organize summer activities including music festivals, gallery shows, and special events;
  6. Assisting with front desk and box office;
  7. Reception and check-in of guests, front-of-house duties, engaging with the public;
  8. Providing tourism information of the region;
  9. Responding to inquiries and concerns of guests;
  10. Other related guest services tasks.
