Position Overview:
The Explorer Hotel is looking for a motivated and dependable Part-Time Seasonal Groundskeeper to join our team. This position will involve various outdoor duties such as gardening, weeding, picking up garbage, sweeping sidewalks, and maintaining the grounds of the hotel to ensure a clean and inviting environment for our guests. The role will report to the Maintenance Manager and may also include additional duties to support the maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gardening, weeding, and caring for hotel grounds.
• Picking up garbage and ensuring outdoor areas are clean and tidy.
• Sweeping sidewalks, parking lots, and other exterior areas.
• Assisting the Maintenance team with other related tasks as required.
• Ensuring that all work areas are safe, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Experience in outdoor work or landscaping is an asset.
• A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable with physical labour, including lifting, bending, and working on your feet.
• Flexibility to perform various tasks as needed.

Compensation:

• $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on previous experience and credentials.
