The Abbotsford Arts Council's programming includes monthly visual art exhibitions at our Kariton House Gallery, quarterly exhibitions by Indigenous artists in the Downie Wenjack Legacy Space, and two annual music festivals: Jam in Jubilee and Mill Lake Music.
Jam in Jubilee occurs Thursday evenings in July and features free family-friendly live music, an Indigenous artist spotlight, food trucks and beer from local vendors, and artist and community tables. Check out coverage of last year's Jam at our website below.
Jam in Jubilee was previously overseen by a festival coordinator. The position has been divided into two directorial positions: music director and grounds director. The grounds director is a big picture thinker who is passionate about amplifying local and regional artisans and vendors and creating safer and more inclusive spaces and events.
Event management experience required. Music festival experience is an asset but not required. We recognize lived experience and volunteer experience.

We recognize the barriers to participation and employment in the art world traditionally equity-denied communities continue to face. We encourage event managers from one or more traditionally equity-denied communities to apply.
