Job description

On behalf of Ignite Technical Resources, we are recruiting for a Graphic Designer for a 3-month contract role with the possibility of extension.


Summary of the Role:

The Graphic Designer will create visually compelling designs to support various marketing initiatives and enhance brand identity. The role involves designing both digital and print materials while ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Develop creative concepts and execute design solutions for marketing materials, social media graphics, website assets, and print collateral.
  2. Design visuals for trade shows, email campaigns, advertisements, brochures, and presentations.
  3. Revise and refine designs based on stakeholder feedback while maintaining quality standards.
  4. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and priorities are addressed.
  5. Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices to enhance work quality.

Core Requirements:

  1. 3-5 years’ experience as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse design work.
  2. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  3. Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual storytelling.
  4. Proficiency with collaboration tools like Microsoft 365 and Atlassian Jira.
  5. Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (preferred).

Desired Skills & Experience:

  1. Experience in B2B tech or a technology-driven sector.
  2. Experience with video production.
  3. Knowledge of web design principles, HTML, and CSS.

Terms:

This is a 3-month contract position with the possibility of extension. The role requires a hybrid work arrangement with 3 days per week onsite in Richmond, BC. Applicants must be available to meet onsite requirements.
