Graphic Designer and Printer Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer and Printer Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles and a passion for creating visually compelling graphics that effectively communicate our brand message. This role requires proficiency in various design software and tools, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to bring innovative ideas to life.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Create compelling and effective designs for logos, paper goods, hard goods, signs and promotional products, including but not limited to logo creation, design formatting, vectorizing, and file formatting for various applications.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as vinyl cutters, plotters, printers, and laminators.
• Maintain inventory of materials and supplies, such as substrates and vinyls.
• Take photos and measurements of vehicles needing wraps or graphics.
• Occasionally meet with customers to discuss design needs and changes.

Qualifications:

• A Degree in Graphic Design is required.
• 2-4 years of experience in graphic design.
• Experience in Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, CorelDraw, and Production Management Software.
• Familiarity with equipment and tools.
• Knowledge of different materials and their applications.
• Strong attention to detail.
• The ability to work accurately with measurements.
• The ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, conceptual thinking, typography skills, and design skills.
• Portfolio of work.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
