Salary: $34.00 hourly / 35 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full-time (Day, Morning, Weekend)

Start Date: Starts as soon as possible

Education and Experience

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Responsibilities

1. Estimate costs of materials and time to complete graphic designs and illustrations
2. Adapt existing illustrations
3. Assist in developing storyboards for electronic productions
4. Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations in order to meet their communications needs
5. Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations
6. Produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations
7. Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials
8. Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials
9. Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication
10. Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients’ objectives
11. Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements
12. Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides
