Due to MaKami College’s continued growth, we are expanding our team and seeking a talented Graphic Designer to support our evolving branding and marketing needs. This role is ideal for a creative professional with a strong eye for design, a passion for maintaining brand consistency, and the ability to develop engaging visual content for diverse platforms and audiences. As part of our dynamic Communications team, you will play a key role in shaping the college’s visual identity, ensuring all internal and external materials align with our brand standards.

Job Duties:

  • Create, update, and manage MaKami branding documents and templates (e.g., PowerPoints, Word documents, letterheads, etc.).
  • Update MaKami branding guidelines to ensure consistency across all materials.
  • Ensure all internal and external marketing and communication materials adhere to MaKami’s brand standards.
  • Design, edit, and manage the distribution of engaging, on-brand graphics for various marketing and communications materials, including website images, banners, advertisements, posters, handouts, sandwich boards, etc., under the supervision of the Multimedia Supervisor.
  • Manage and coordinate the ordering of all printed promotional materials (e.g., pop-up banners, brochures, sandwich boards) with prior asset and budget approval from the Communications Director.
  • Attend regular planning and check-in meetings with the Multimedia Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Consistent, trustworthy, accountable, and reliable.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Exceptional work ethic and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in graphic design fundamentals, including typography, color theory, and layout design.
  • Strong graphic and photo editing skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
